High Capacity, High Power, High Safety—Titanium-Niobium Oxide

2026/03/27

Taizhou Shaneng Technology Co., Ltd. is a technology-driven enterprise dedicated to the research, development, and manufacturing of specialized battery materials that offer high safety, fast charging, long cycle life, and wide-temperature-range performance. Leveraging the continuous breakthroughs achieved by its R&D team, the company has successfully developed a high-energy-density titanium-based anode material— Titanium Niobium Oxide (TNO) The first-generation product boasts an energy density more than 40% higher than that of conventional lithium titanate batteries. It not only fully inherits the core advantages of lithium titanate anode materials—high safety, high power, wide temperature range, and ultra-fast charging—but also effectively addresses their limitation in energy density, thereby laying a solid foundation for the market promotion and large-scale application of titanium–niobium oxide (TNO) anode materials.

In response to the diverse application scenario requirements of different customers, the R&D team at ShanNeng Technology has continuously iterated and upgraded its offerings, launching multiple generations of titanium–niobium oxide (TNO) products. The key specifications are as follows:

  01| First-generation titanium niobium oxide (TNO) : The reversible capacity at 0.5C reaches 246.7 mAh/g, with a first-cycle Coulombic efficiency of approximately 95%, and mass production and stable delivery have now been achieved;

02| Second-generation titanium niobium oxide (TNO) (high-capacity, high-compaction type) : At 0.5C, the reversible capacity reaches as high as 274 mAh/g, with an initial Coulombic efficiency of approximately 96%, making it suitable for applications with stringent requirements for both specific capacity and tap density.

  03| Titanium-Niobium Oxide (TNO) Generation III (Ultra-High Power Type) At a 0.5C rate, the reversible capacity is 243 mAh/g, with an initial Coulombic efficiency of approximately 87%. Even at a high rate of 20C, the reversible capacity remains as high as 197 mAh/g, meeting the requirements for high-power output.

Looking ahead, Shaneng Technology will steadfastly adhere to the development philosophy of “one generation for industrial application, one generation in reserve, and one generation dedicated to R&D,” continuously deepening its expertise in next-generation titanium-based anode materials, relentlessly overcoming technical bottlenecks, and delivering more competitive battery-material solutions to the industry.
